(This presentation given at the Autism Across The Lifespan 2015 conference in Overland Park at JCCC) Learn how to be a considerate and respectful autistic ally. Come join this session and learn about the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit advocacy organization run by and for individuals on the autism spectrum. ASAN-KC members will talk about disability, neurodiversity, self-determination and self-advocacy, as well as discuss issues that are important to the autistic community.
