 Invite quotation as per Indent received and correspondence with suppliers.
 Release of Purchase Orders after negotiation and purchase chart comparative.
 Preparation of Purchase Orders in SAP, and generating other MIS reports from SAP.
 Material Planning & follow-ups with suppliers.
 Indent tracking / Daily Monitoring / Daily follow-ups.
 Inventory Management.
 Corrective & preventive actions if there is any shortage / rejections etc.
 Finalization of rate contracts/MOU for Fast Moving Spares/ Consumables items.
 Effective logistics management and finalization of Transport contracts.
 Responsible for directing procurement activities of:-
(a) Responsibility towards procurement of an entire range of electrical & mechanical items
for construction industry.
(b) Rate contracts of Cutting Blades, Filters, Welding Rods, Lubricants and HDPE Pipe &
Coupler.
(c) Looking after transportation of all equipments inter site as well as for new machines /
equipments.
(d) Procurement of OEM & Non OEM Spares.
(e) Providing price approvals for purchase done under other divisions with Proven
Negotiation Skills.
(f) Payment and Indent Tracking & review the status of the indents and ensuring timely or
immediate action, if any required and to sort out the stuck up issues of sites.
(g) Preparing presentations for Management Review Meeting to expedite the overall
performance of the department.
(h) Regularization of capital items after successfully delivery at site into company asset.
(i) Co ordination with Plant & Machinery department as well as with site for fulfills the end
user requirement.
