6. Getting Started
Step 1: Start SolarWinds SAN Monitor from the SolarWinds SAN Monitor folder.
Step 2: Click Next on the Welcome window.
Step 3: Type the IP address or host name of the device with the array you want
to monitor in the Array IP Address field, and then click Next.
Step 4: Type the number of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs) to be displayed, and
then select a sorting method from the list.
Step 5: Select or type a polling frequency from the Polling Interval list, and then
click Next.
Step 6: Set the appropriate warning and error threshold values you want to use,
and then click Start Monitoring.

Step 1: Once SAN Monitor is configured, polling begins and real-time data will be displayed within
seconds

10. Configuring SAN Monitor
Step 1: Click Settings
Step 2: Type the IP address or host name of the device you want to monitor in
the Array IP Address field.
Step 3: Type the number of LUNs to be displayed, and then select a sorting
method from the list.
Step 4: Select or type a polling frequency from the Polling Interval list.
Step 5: If you want to modify the warning and error thresholds, click Edit
Thresholds, set the appropriate warning and error threshold values you want to
use, and then click OK.
Step 6: Click OK.
