Covid pandemic ..How it spread and its structure

2. Abstract-
The virus that causes Covid-19 is currently spreading
around the world.At least six other types of corona virus
are known to infect humans,with some causing
common colds and fever.Corona virus enters through
mouth nose or eyes,then attach to airways.It is believed
to have originated in Bats.Most infected person
experience mild to moderate respiratory illness,there is
no specific treatment for disease caused by noval corona
virus.However many of the symptoms can be
treated,therefore based on patients clinical condition.

3. The Sars-coV-2 Corona virus-
The corona virus is named after the crownlike
spikes that protrude from its surface. The virus
is enveloped in a bubble of oily lipid
molecules,which falls apart on contact with
soap.
Entering a vulnerable Cell -
The virus enters the body through the
nose,mouth or eyes,then attaches to cells
in the airways that produce a protein
called as ACE2.The virus is believed to
have originated in bats,where it may
have attached to a similar protein.

4. Releasing Viral RNA-
The virus infect the cell by
fusing its oily membrane with the
membrane of the cell.Once
inside ,the corona virus releases a
snippet of genetic material called
RNA.
Hijacking the cell-
The virus genome is less than
30,000 genetic letter long.The
infected cell reads the RNA and
begins making protein that will
kep the immune system at bay
and help assemble new copies of
the virus.

5. Making Viral proteins-
As the infection progresses, the
machinery of the cell begins to
churn out new spikes and other
proteins that will form more
copies of the coronavirus.
Spreding the infection-
Each infected cell can release
million of copies of the virus before
the cell finally breaks down and
dies. The viruses may infect the
nearby cells,or end up in droplets
that escape the lungs.

6. Symptoms- Most covid-19 infections causes a fever as the immune
system fights to clear the virus.In severe cases,the lungs becomes
obstructed with the fluid and dying the cell,making it difficult to
breath.A smell percentage of infection can lead to acute respiratory
distress syndrome,and death.
Spread- The covid 19
virus spreads primarily
through droplets from
the nose when an
infected person coughs
or sneezes,so its
important that you also
practise respiratory
etiquette.

7. Treatment- There is no specific
treatment for disease However ,many
of the symptoms can be treated and
therefore treatment based on the
patients clinical condition.
Masks are effective only when used in
combination with frequent hand
cleaning with alcohol based sanitizer
or soap.
