Why Pay Attention to Mobile?
* Source: Jupiter Research data
• 4 out of 5 consumers use smartphones to shop.
Smart retailers (like Target) recognize this trend and are incentivizing
the use of mobile phones within their stores with discounts and
coupons targeted to mobile users. Many restaurants are doing the
same thing by offering a free drink, appetizer or coupon code.
• 70% of mobile searches lead to online action within an hour.
When you grab your smartphone to search, you have a specific intent
in mind – whether it be food, clothing or an oil change for your car.
Mobile searchers are BUYERS – assuming you can meet their needs.
• 15 billion dollar increase in coupons redeemed.
The number of ecoupons redeemed will top 31 billion in 2017,
up from 16 billion in 2015.*
• Consumer Behavior
Consumer behavior is evolving to incorporate online or mobile
coupon search, resulting in a sharp rise in traffic to coupon sites
and an increase in coupons being stored on mobile devices.
Recommendations for Best Results
Our Merchants can create up to 12 Community Incentives:
Total incentive offerings need to equal a minimum of $25.
• The first one is a “Free Preview” which is available on our free App and needs to be a “solo” offer.
• “Awesome Viral Offers” such as “Save $25 on purchase of $50” or more will receive special
placement. If these “awesome viral offers” drive too much business to your establishment,
remember that you can change your offers at any time for a $20 set up fee.
• Consumers respond better when the offer is tangible such as “Buy One, Get One Free,” “Save $10
on purchase of $50 or more” rather than percentage based such as “Save 5%” or “Save 10%.”
