4. Feed Size and Reduction Ratio
The maximum Feed Reduction that can be achieved in a 50 TPH VSI is 1 : 5 and the feed size of the Raw
Material should be strictly adhered to the table below though deviations can be allowed based on the property
of the material.

5. Types of Feeding
• Regulated Feeding through a Feeder underneath the Tunnel - Recommended

• Direct Feeding through a Vibrating Screen above the VSI – Recommended
• Regulated Feeding through a Feeder underneath a Surge Hopper filled by a
conveyor – Recommended
• Regulated Feeding through a Flat Belt Conveyor underneath a Surge Hopper
filled by a conveyor - Recommended
6. Moisture Content in the Feed
• The Moisture content in the Feed should be strictly below 10% otherwise the
Feed will become sticky and will cause a dip in the Production Capacity.
• Spraying through Nozzles to suppress the Dust above the Roof of the
Machine is recommended.
7. Types of Mounting
Nesans CF Series VSI can be configured in a three different kinds of Mounting
• Fixed or Stationary Mounting
• Semi Mobile or Skid Mounting
• Wheel Mounted
8. Power Requirements
The Production Capacity of the VSI can be increased or decreased based on the
installed power of the Motor. The allowable range of Power installation is
provided in the table below.
