SEO can ber really difficult. One of the easiest ways to practice SEO is ON page optimization. I created this short checklist for you!

2. CHOOSING A KEYWORD
When you write an article you should always target only one keyword! The keyowrd
can be a sentence that you type into google and the sentece where you want to show
up in google will be your keyword.
How do I choose a keyword?
There are many keyword tools that help you with this problem. You can use the free
Google KeywordPlanner or for example what I use... Jaaxy. It's not for free, it does
cost $19/month but it is really easy too handle and has some nice functions!
Anyways, you want to look for a keyword that hasn't that much competition so it's
easier to rank for but at the same time the keyword with the most traffic. In Jaaxy
there is an own SEO score where traffic and competition are put together in one
number.
What do I do with the Keyword?

3. WHERE TO PUT THE KEYWORD?
Where do I implement the keyword?
You want to make sure that the keyword appears in your header (you can add some
words and form a better sentence/headline). Use it in the text in a natural way..
depends on the length of the text but 2-3 times normally is a good density.
Throughout the text you can use the keyword by alternating it too. Don't spam the
keyword, Google will notice that and penalize you, so make sure to keep things
naturally. You can use the keyword in some headings too, but like in the text
alternate it and write use it in a sentence.
Is that everything I can do to optimize my article?
No, there are some other things you can do to optimize your article for the search
engines. Just go to the next page.

4. MORE SEO OPTIMIZATIO
Now some other things you can do to optimize you article.
- You should make sure to have an image or a video in the article (better both). In this
case Google thinks that your article is more interesting and more valuable to people
than only plain text.
- Make sure to link out to at least one relevant page (for example implement a link
that goes to Wikipedia). That shows Google that you link to relevant stuff and that it
should be a "serious" article.
- This is optional but I recommend it: Link to another p
related post.
- This is something that I noticed recently. I can't tell you if this is 100% true, but it did
make a difference: comments. Make sure that some people comment on your post
and answer them. First it shows Google th

When you published your article make sure to share it on social platforms and try to
get likes etc.
Platforms to share on:
- Facebook
- Stumbleupon
- Reddit
- Twitter
- ...
You can connect your social media accounts with wordpress so that after publishing
and article it posts the article on your social media channels too.
