- TIMAI Title Thanks xx for a great introduction, it’s a privilege to be here. My name is Siddhi Thakkar, 13+ yrs. Of experience in software industry, out of which 5 yrs. have been digital, that’s what I will talk today. Summarized my 5 yrs. Of learning into a bunch of slides, in the hope that it will help you and your business flourish even further. What does this phrase mean for you? Why are we saying that? Because we see everything around us being completely transformed. My father is busy every morning whatsapping all morning messages to everyone, my mother learns new recipes on youtube & if that wasn’t all- my maid asked me the other day to book a refrigerator during Amazon Diwali sale.
- No wonder the stats depict that so much is happening on the internet in a minute Think about how time do you spend on any of your devices. Highly likely that any brand that’s not visible to me on any digital media forum is going to be wiped out from my memory.
- Hence, the only way for businesses to survive is to go through digital transformation.
- For the next 30 mins. Or so, I would like you to take you through a journey that starts with a basic definition of DT, what are its key components…. Ask questions…
- What does DT mean to you? WIM Does that mean any business who has a running website or a social media presence is digitally transformed? Unfortunately not! Its more about inclusion of automation into all of your business processes & not just at customer-facing end. Two most common myths about DT- automation is directly propotional to loss of jobs I would strongly urge you to break that myth since automation just means sparing people for smarter jobs. Of course, smarter jobs means people to educate and upskills themselves Think of the time of industrial revolution of 1945- haven’t all of us moved to do better things that getting employed at factories doing monotous jobs? Second most common myth about Digital transformation is that its only for big, rich compansies. That’s not true either. I would prove that with some examples.
