WHAT IS MARKETING?
Marketing is defined as the activity, set of institutions, and
processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and
exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients,
partners, and society at large. It is one of the primary components
of business management and commerce. Marketers can direct
their product to other businesses (B2B marketing) or directly to
consumers (B2C marketing).
PROMOTION
This includes all aspects of marketing
communications; advertising, sales
promotion, including promotional
education, public relations, personal
selling, product placement, branded
entertainment, event marketing, trade
shows and exhibitions.
PLACE
This refers to how the product gets to
the customer; the distribution channels
and intermediaries such as wholesalers
and retailers who enable customers to
access products or services in a
convenient manner.
WHAT IS MARKETING MIX?
A marketing mix is a foundational tool
used to guide decision making in
marketing.The marketing mix represents
the basic tools that marketers can use to
bring their products or services to the
market.They are the foundation of
managerial marketing and the marketing
plan typically devotes a section to the
marketing mix.
PRICE
This refers to the process of setting
a price for a product, including
discounts. The price need not be
monetary; it can simply be what is
exchanged for the product or services,
e.g. time, energy, or attention or any
sacrifices consumers make in order to
acquire a product or service.
PRODUCT
The product aspects of marketing
deal with the specifications of the
actual goods or services, and how it
relates to the end-user’s needs and
wants. The product element consists
of product design, new product
innovation, branding, packaging,
labeling.
INTRODUCTION
Wi-fi (Wireless fidelity) is a family of wireless network protocols,
based on the IEEE 802.11 family of standards, which are
commonly used for local area networking of devices and internet
access.
Wi-fi uses multiple parts of the IEEE 802 protocol family and is
designed to interwork seamlessly with its wired sibling Ethernet .
Compatible devices can network through wireless access
points to each other as well as to wired devices and the internet.
TheWi-FiConnections are used for numerous purposes. Some of the
important uses ofWi-Fi connections are as follows:
•INTERNET:Wi-Fi technology may be used to provide local network
and Internet access to devices that are withinWi-Fi range of one or more
routers that are connected to the Internet.The coverage of one or more
interconnected access points (hotspots) can extend from an area as small as
a few rooms to as large as many square kilometers.
•CITY-WIDE : Many cities around the world announced plans to construct
citywideWi-Fi networks. Mysore became the firstWi-Fi enabled city in
India.A company calledWiFiyNet has set up hotspots in Mysore, covering
the complete city and a few nearby villages.
•GEOLOCATION :Wi-Fi positioning systems use the positions ofWi-Fi
hotspots to identify a device's location.

Airtel India is the second largest
provider of mobile telephony and second
largest provider of fixed telephony in India, and
is also a provider
of broadband and subscription
television services. Airtel launched its V-Fiber
service in October 2016. Airtel V-Fiber is
available in 103 cities in India with speeds up
to 1 Gbit/s .This service was later renamed as
Xstream Fibre.
RELIANCE JIO
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, d/b/a Jio, is an
Indian telecommunications company and a
subsidiary of Jio Platforms, headquartered
in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In August
2018, Jio began to test a new triple play fiber
to the home service known tentatively as Jio
GigaFiber, including broadband internet with
speeds ranging from 100 to 1000 Mbit/s, as
well as television and landline telephone
services.
BSNL
BSNL Broadband (formerly DataOne) is
an Indian Wireline Broadband Operator,
operated by the public enterprise BSNL. It
provides both wired and wireless broadband
services as well as many value added
services. BSNL Broadband launched its
services on 14 January 2005 as Data One.
ACT LIMITED
Atria Convergence Technologies Limited,
branded as ACT, is an
Indian telecommunications company
headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. ACT
offers fibre to the home services under the
brand name "ACT Fibernet". On 30 March
2017, ACT launched 1 Gbit/s wired broadband
plans in Hyderabad, becoming the first ISP in
India to offer practically gigabit speeds. It also
announced plans to introduce the gigabit
speed to other cities.
