updating book titles and their products in Product Planning and Management tool (PPM). Data Management
responsibilities include managing:
 Book information - “Title”, “Version”, “Edition”.
 Bibliographical References - ISBN, Order no., Reg. Status, Copyright year, Imprint, Contract Pub date,
Planned Pub date, Delivery Status, Edition Data in different locations and Editorial
contacts/responsibilities.
 Book Specifications – Format, Extent, Project Planning.
 Print cost per unit
 Originators – managing title authors and contributors list.
 Links – External objects
 Student-focused contents to appear on Evolve website
 Reviewer-focused comments to appear on Evolve website.
 Notes
 Pricing – Calculating, recording and managing US$, CAD, Euro and GBP for book titles

 Creating companion/related titles or products for each title by linking the ISBNs of all the ancillaries to
form a version family.
 Flag flipping – Updating Evolve information, collection tags, etc.
 Assigning ISBNs for Science & Technology and Health Science titles.
 Responsible for creating and managing the Master Copy Document (MCD) in PPM
 Was responsible to deliver a crucial project, 'Elsevier Adaptive Learning' that required creating the MCDs and
