Media?
“Social media refers to online and mobile
technologies that create and distribute content to
facilitate interpersonal interactions, with the
assistance of various firms that offer platforms,
services, and tools to help consumers and firms
build their connections”(GREWAL, DHRUV)
What is Digital
Marketing and the
4E Framework?
“Digital marketing pertains to all online marketing
activities, which include all digital assets, channels, and
media, spanning not jut online but also social media and
mobile marketing”(GREWAL, DHRUV).
4E Framework:
● Excite the customers with the product
● Educate
● Experience the products your promoting
● Give them an opportunity to engage with the product
and take advantage of the online availability.
Excite:
When promoting and do digital marketing you want to
make it to where viewers are gonna click on the link and
view their product. Other ways to do this is to create apps
that people can download such as games and other blogging
and post apps such as facebook, twitter, and snapchat.
Educate:
This is key aspect of online promoting in which it is
important to make sure the customer is well educated over
the product in which they may intend to buy. Things such as
doctors appointments and exams that may help prevent a
disease of disorder can be very educational and will get
people to want to proceed.
Experience:
Watching reviews and seeing other with a product is a good
way to experience the product. Things such as try-on for
clothing using product for your face and seeing a transition
from using the product is a great opportunity for a company
to help customers experience and show what the product is
capable of.
Engage:
The other Es help support engage because while in
engaging is a action in which. A good idea of engaging
audiences is changing branding and creating apps that help
customers pick things out and seeing furniture in a room to
get a better idea of it.

Many famous people are a part of brands as ambassadors.
This is called “Influencer Marketing”(GREWAL,
DHRUV).This helps the company to use them to post about a
specific brand to gain a large amount of people to like and
buy the product. Most of the people who follow the high
status people will believe what that person is using because
they look up to them which becomes a huge gain to the
company.
Takeaway:
This topic and aspect of the class draws to my attention
because I see it everyday and work for two companies who
promote digital marketing everyday. American Eagle which
has many apps and Kings Island which uses many aspects
of digital marketing and resources to promote.
