2. Hardware
• All the touchable parts of the computer are known as hardware. It includes physical
equipment's of the computer.
• Power supply: - It provides power to internal components.
• Motherboard: - It is a rectangular board, which connects the other parts of the
computer.
• Expansion card: - A printed circuit board, that add a functional ability to the
computer.
• Hard disk: - The main storage of the computer.
• CPU: - The main Component which executes all computer programs
• RAM: - A storage that stores currently running programs

4. Software
• A set of instructions given to the computer to perform specific tasks.
• There are 4 types of software:
• System: It is the operating system used (windows)
• Programming: software used to create, debug and execute programs. (Python)
• Application: Used to perform tasks on the computer.(MS-Office)
• Utility: Programs used for utility purposes. (Antivirus)

• Input devices
• Keyboard: An input device used to input data.
• Mouse: A pointing device used to locate icon on the desktop
• Microphone: Used to input sound
• Webcam: used to input visual data
• Scanner: Used to get data from paper to computer

• Monitor: It is the main display of the computer.
• Speakers: It is used to give out audio from the computer.
• Printer: It helps to get information on computer to paper.
• Projector: Provides information on a monitor to a large screen.
