Profile
An excellent & hardworking graduate that has progressed from starter courses to intermediate courses in GNVQ Art and
Design and ND Product Design at Milton Keynes College.
While working towards a National Diploma in 2005, I was awarded Student of the Year for my commitment and ambition
to the course. In achieved a National Diploma in 2006 and a 2:1 Upper Division Degree in Product Design at the University
of Northampton in 2009, afterwards continued employment with Netto Foodstores whilst Freelancing as creative designer
working on illustration, posters, flyers and logos.
I am ambitious and hard-workingand I am looking for an Entry/Junior level Creative/Product Design role leading to further
career opportunities. I have lots of enthusiasm and talent in creating stunning digital artwork in automotive rendering,
flyer, poster and logos.

My role includes:
 Assembler/Picker- Drive a picker truck and arm computer (voice) to pick products into cages quickly and accurately
 Loader- Load and secure cages and pallets onto trailers
Home Carer: Looking after my mother May 2013- 26th August 2014
My responsibilities:
 Accompanied her to hospital visits, and answered doctors queries on her behalf if and when required
 Helped take her to appointments on time and getting out and about
 Ensured she took her medication, was using equipment correctly and prepared her meals
 Kept her company and took care of her general well-being
Poundland: Sales Assistant 7th January 2013- 6th October 2013
My role included:
 I was responsiblefor maintaining the Grocery section, ensuring a good fill level and variety of food and cleanliness
 Stock Rotation- e.g. Shorter dates displayed at the front of longer dates/newer products
 Physical Inventory counts: Counting and adding total of requested products in warehouse and store
 Using the office computer to print Point of Sale (POS) labels.
 Customer service: Answer questions and if I did not know something would take customer to another staff or
investigate myself.
I was commended by management on my performance- for hard work and consistency; they said “Sales were up on my
section over 50 percent, twice compared to the same time last year”

2. Poundland: Christmas Temp 14th November 2012- 24th December 2012
My role included:
 Filling grocery and confectionary sections
 Customer service - answering questions and taking the customer to whatever they were looking for, if a product
wasn’t on the shelf I would go to check whether we had it in stock.
 At Christmas I was responsible for maintaining the Christmas confectionary line and display.
Netto Foodstores Ltd: Part-Time Shop Assistant 24th June 2002- 22nd May 2011
My role included:
 Filling, stock rotation (old in front of new) and maintaining all sections : Grocery, Crisps and Confectionary,
Drinks/Wines, Homeware, Health/Hygiene and Pet food etc.
 Unloading deliveries and checking papers for correct allocation of palletized goods.
 Using the computer for printing POS labels, marking down prices of old items a nd logging wastage.


What skills can I offer?
Efficient using PC and Mac with Adobe Creative Suite software gained a good working knowledge using them as part of my
field of study and freelance work.
 MS Office
 Very good knowledge using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
 Great drawing and rendering ability, using digital and traditional media.
 Good Customer service, will do my best and go out of my way to satisfy them, or whenever possible.
