I have extensive installation and supervisory experience
gained on a large number of London Underground and
Infraco projects. Responsibilities have included the
installation of electrical control and instrumentation
switchboards, 630v and 11kv cable installation and site
person in charge duties in conjunction with LUL safe
systems and rules. I am highly motivated individual with
significant experience at organising site teams that perform
with a high level of commitment and consistently deliver on
key milestones. Successful programme controls, good
planning and organisational skills are my keys to the
successful deliveryof these projects. Since my promotion to
engineer my aspirations are to continue applying the skills I
have learnt into an exciting new career in project
management.

Balfour Beatty Major Projects – 2014 to Present
Project Engineer
Reporting to Project Manager whilst leading a team that have the responsibility for a
complete substation upgrade on the SSR 3A District Line Power Supply Upgrade.
Engineering duties include the installation of HV, LV and DC switchboard replacement;
630v and 11kv cable installation, SCADA control and the installation of 2.5 MW transformer
rectifiers and all associated civil, L&SP and ventilation requirements).
Current duties include:
Maintaining good relations with the client
Attending progress meetings with project management
Ensuring project cost and programmes are managed and worked to with reference to
the completion of construction activities
Develop and manage programs and project schedules
Produce Engineering and Project documentation.
Accessing the required design information with instruction to site level

Lead Electrician
Working on various cabling projects including the Victoria Line Power Upgrade where I
gained experience in cable route works and cable installation works including DC Track
feeder cables, HV Distribution cabling within various environments including through existing
LU Tunnels, cable shafts and substations and also surface level track cabling. As the lead
electrician it was also my role to ensure that all cable were tested and inspected with final
connections made at distribution board ends.
