Analysis of an Action Film Poster:
In the background of this poster, we can
see fire, lots of helicopters, apes on the
loose around the city etc. All of these
features represent the chaos and
destruction that is usually present on an
action poster. The background is a long
shot allowing the viewer to get a glimpse of
what the movie is about and also enticing
the viewer to pay money to watch it.

The shot of the 3 characters is a close up.
This allows us as the viewers to understand
the emotions and feelings of the
characters. Also, the fact that the ape is
bigger and above the rest of the characters,
shows us that the ape is the more
dominant character & that he is in control
since he is at the top.

The typography is bold, silver and shiny
adding emphasis to the poster since it
stands out.
Treatment for The Exchange:
consists of 5 main characters,
a group of rebellious school friends who have been forced by
their parents to go on a educational school trip to Rome to
meet with their new Italian exchange students. Though while
on the trip, the friends, including their crew leader Max (Scott
Felix) witness the death of their teacher, Mr Liocu. But who
would want to kill Mr Liocu? Was it an accident or a planned
assassination? After sneaking out and unwillingly stumbling
across a bundle of stolen goods in an abandoned warehouse,
the group are in sudden danger. On a risk-taking mission to
seek the truth, these reckless, daring kids are pushed to their
limits and are willing to go to all extremes to find the answers.
The movie will be filmed in Rome, with replica guns and weapons to
prevent injury of the actors. The main actors will be taught how to do low
scale fighting however stunt doubles will be used for anything bigger.
There will be interior shots though most will be exterior, saving money on
lighting due to the majority of good, sunny weather in Italy. Certain scenes
however that do not need to be filmed in Rome can be shot back in
England to cut down on cost of production.

Since its aimed towards a youth audience, posters will be hung in
shopping centres, cinemas, gaming arcades etc. as these are all places you
would find teenagers.

Updates about the film will be constantly posted on social media sites
including, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and Youtube because the majority
of youth nowadays spend time surfing the internet and on social
networking websites.
