He was considered to be a genius, one of the
greatest minds in history.
Leonardo started painting when he was a child.
Leonardo created many inventions. He was way
ahead of his time.
He considered himself to be an engineer, who could
paint, and not a painter.

3. He was also a scientist, a mathematician, an inventor, a writer, a
musician, a sculptor, an designer, astronomer and a botanist (a
plant expert).

6. Da Vinci could write with both hands. He could write forward with one
hand, while writing backward with another. His writing could be read,
when held up to a mirror.
