I cared for an individual with Developmental Disabilities, who resided in my home. My duties included: the
safety and well- being of the individual, administration and record keeping of prescribed medications, auditing
and record keeping of finances, and ensuring training outcomes were ran as directed by the Team.
Supportive Housing Advocate
Lincoln Action Program - Lincoln, NE - April 2009 to August 2011
My duties included: assignment to a qualified number of families, who applied for the Supportive Housing
Program. The main goal was to attain Section 8 vouchers for the families on my caseload. I would assist
families with transportation and donated items after finding proper housing. The program also consisted of
several goals families would need to attain self- sufficiency. For example, job placement, transportation, and
ability to live on a monthly budget.
Job Coach

My job duties were to be assigned to Adults with Developmental Disabilities who are in services through
Region V. I would assist with transportation to volunteer and employment sites. I would ensure that clients
would be assisted on the job if needed, and that all programs designed to assist clients we're ran accordingly.
For example, hygiene, and wearing proper attire to the job, along with job performance and appropriate work
environment behaviors.
