ABOUT EMOIL – EMDAD:
Emoil – Emdad is one of biggest Petroleum and Aviation fuel Storage Company in
UAE. It is a Joint venture of SHELL, BP, EPPCO and EMARAT Petroleum.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Carrying our ERS TESTING in Marine loading arm.
 Annual preventive maintenance Marine loading arm.
 Seal changing in Marine loading arm.
 Maintenance on MOV, ESD, ERS.
 Receives instruction, obtain specific material, spare parts and tools and under the
guidance of a Senior Maintenance Engineer carries out inspection maintenance,
repair and overhaul of a plant and equipment in accordance with company
standard, codes and practices.
 To carry out tool box meeting before starting the job and escape area are clean in case
of emergency.
 Observes and follow company HSE procedure to ensure work is carried out in a safe
manner.
 Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted within company standing instruction
and procedures and good oil industry practices.
 Performing Preventive Maintenance of GATE, DBB, BALL, BUTERFLY, DELUGE,
GLOBE valves and Hydro testing in pipelines and valves.
 Calibration, testing and maintenance on temperature and pressure safety valves
 Calibration and testing on pressure gauges and transmitters
 Maintenance on marine and truck loading arms
 Maintenance on can and drum type centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, pneumatic
pumps
 Calibration and testing on LEL detector
 Operating of all terminal machinery, equipment, and assets.
 Assist with the maintenance and repair of all terminal equipment and company assets.
 Operation and maintenance of various equipment’s and utilities such as centrifugal
and positive displacement pumps, centrifugal air compressors, diesel generators, hot
oil heaters, Nitrogen production unit, effluent management unit.
 Inspection of Hot, Cold work and confined space entry sites and permits.
 Performing routine checks and enforcing safety precautions and measures.
