DISPUTE RESOLUTION BOARD FOUNDATION
3440 Toringdon Way, Suite 205, Charlotte, NC 28277 USA P:+1-980.265.2367 E: info@drb.org
Held in just a few short weeks, the DRBF’s Central and
Eastern Europe regional conference, convening experts
in Dispute Resolution, is designed for practitioners,
seeking to enhance their knowledge and experience in
the implementation of Dispute Boards, including a more
in-depth look at the DAAB process under the FIDIC
2017 contracts, and how to implement them, with an
emphasis on specifics of the region. Through innovative,
engaging workshops and presentations, the practical
aspects of DBs will follow the life cycle process, from
the pre-contract stage through dispute avoidance
techniques, hearings and decisions, each with mock
presentations to bring the issues to life for the audience.
The two-day conference of learning and networking will
focus on understanding how to develop, implement, and
deliver a successful Dispute Board program to maximize
dispute avoidance and deliver swift and cost-effective
resolutions, a hallmark of successful projects. Day one
offers an interactive and lively lecture style workshop
on practical issues that often arise in the DB process
plus a half day case studies based workshop for more
experienced practitioners.
This special event will bring together experts and those
new to DBs, with delegates being provided ample time
to share their insights, and to learn and network in an
engaging environment.
Who should attend?
Any practitioner involved in international construction
contracts and disputes: contractors, engineers, in-house
lawyers from construction companies, independent
construction lawyers, arbitrators, counsels, mediators,
contract managers and client representatives (including
public authorities).
Several industry leaders and a number of expert speakers
from past DRBF events have been invited. They will offer their
unique perspectives on dispute boards, dispute avoidance,
FIDIC contracts and more. Do not miss this conference
and the opportunity to learn from industry experts and
experienced practitioners from around the world! Everyone
is warmly welcome!
