Legal Appointments Nov. 16 - 18 - The Legal Assistance Office, located at the Fleet and Family Support Center
(building 30), will have Reserve JAGs on board Nov. 16 - 18. Five JAG officers will be available to take legal assistance
appointments Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please note - appointments are necessary. To make an appointment, call

Southern Miss Gulf Coast Campus Info Session - Southern Miss Gulf Coast Campus will present a Southern Miss
information session Nov. 20, 9 a.m. - noon at the Navy College office in building 60 on board NCBC. The session will
feature Dr. Ismail Basha, an expert in the online Construction Engineering Technology Bachelor’s degree program. For

Colmer Dining Facility Thanksgiving Dinner - The Colmer Dining Facility will be serving a special Thanksgiving Dinner
Nov. 22, 1 - 3:30 p.m. The Thanksgiving meal is open to all retirees, DOD and civilians. Cost for the dinner is $6.40, E1 -
E4 (spouses and dependents); $7:50, E5 and above (spouses and dependents.) The menu features Oven Roasted Turkey
and Baked Ham, Traditional sides such as Corn Bread Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Marshmallow Sweet Potatoes, Giblet
and Turkey Gravy, Cranberry sauce, Corn Chowder, Shrimp Cocktail and assorted baked pies, cakes and desserts.
Specialized Training of Military Parents (STOMP) - STOMP is an organization dedicated solely to addressing the
needs of military families who have family members with special medical or educational needs. STOMP will be on the Gulf
Coast for a free two day workshop on Parent Rights and Responsibilities with regard to the Individuals with Disabilities Act
(IDEA). Topics also covered include IEPs, 504s, TRICARE and Extended Care Health Options, the DoD Education Activity
System and more. The training will be at Keesler Air Force Base Dec. 3 - 4, at the Bay Breeze Event Center. The two-day
workshop will be held from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. To register for this FREE workshop or for more information, please

~Women’s Fall Bible Study - Women’s Bible Study is held Wednesdays at 11 a.m. at the Seabee Memorial Chapel. The
Fall Bible Study is conducting a six-week study by Jennifer Rothchild, “Missing Pieces.” Free child care is available.
~Looking for a church? The Seabee Memorial Chapel holds services every Sunday that might suit your needs.
Protestant Services include a Gospel Service at 8 a.m. and Divine Worship Service at 11 a.m. Catholic Services include
Catholic Mass at 9:30 a.m. There is also a Catholic Mass Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m.
~ Seabee Pantry – Donations are needed to stock the pantry for the holiday season. Donation drop-off sites are located
at the Navy Exchange, Chapel, Commissary, Fleet and Family Support Center and Armed Forces Retirement Home.
Everyone affiliated with NCBC can use the Seabee Pantry.
~ Parents’ Morning Out - The chapel will have certified care providers available for parents or guardians caring for
children of deployed service members (1 - 5 years old), Nov. 14 and Nov. 28 from 8 - 11 a.m. This service extends to IA
families as well. Please call the chapel for reservations as space is limited.
~ Thanksgiving Celebration - A Thanksgiving Celebration will take place Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Seabee Memorial
Chapel. The celebration will include food, games, crafts, jumpies and more!
~ Home School Children’s Christmas Choir - Practice will be held at the Seabee Memorial Chapel Nov. 19, 26; and
Dec. 3 from 4 - 5:30 p.m. The choir will learn several Christmas Carols and take a field trip to the Armed Forces
Retirement Home (AFRH). There are only 10 spots available for children, ages 4 - 8. The choir is open to homeschooled
children who have parents assigned to Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) and 20 th Seabee Readiness Group
(SRG). To sign up, please stop by the chapel or call 228- 871-2454.
~ Angel Tree Program - Signup sheets are now available at the chapel for the annual Angel Tree Program for children.
Deadline for sign up is Dec. 12.

Fitness - Do you like tennis or is badminton more your style? Sign up for Lunchtime Intramural Pickleball. Pickleball is a
racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Head to the CBC Fitness Center and sign
up Nov. 16 - 30. The league starts Feb. 6. Games will be held 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Fitness Center gymnasium.

USO Center Supply Drive - The USO will be collecting food donations now through December to use during the holidays
as our young service members spend long hours waiting at Gulfport Biloxi International Airport, where high food prices
and the absence of meals on flights create financial challenges and hunger. Monetary donations should be sent by Dec.
14. Monetary donations received after Dec. 14 will be applied to the 2013 effort. Checks or money orders can be sent to:
USO Gulf Coast, 14035 Q Airport Road, Gulfport, MS 39507. Checks should be made payable to “USO Gulf Coast” and food
donations should be placed on the memo line. Snacks that can be donated include: Variety pack of chips (Doritos, Frito
Lays are most popular), Planters mixed peanuts, Chocolate and non-chocolate candy, Crackers, Cookies (Famous Amos
