No Fireworks on board NCBC – NCBC Fire and Emergency Services would like to remind you that fireworks are not
permitted on board NCBC Gulfport. If you are off base and using fireworks, remember these safety tips: Never light
fireworks indoors or near dry grass. Always have a bucket of water and/or a fire extinguisher nearby. Know how to
operate the fire extinguisher properly. Before using fireworks, always read the directions and warning labels. If a
device is not marked with the contents, safe operating directions and a warning label, do not light it. Children must be
supervised at all times when around fireworks. Children should not be allowed to run around with sparklers in hand
as they can burn up to the same temperature as a blow torch! Always observe fireworks from a safe distance
when viewing during public displays.
