Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life Talk
You are NOT here to recruit for your Fraternity and Sorority !
You may discuss the Fraternity and Sorority community as a whole but not as
individual units.
If asked what chapter (house) you are in you may answer the following ways.
1. I don’t want to influence your opinion about any of the chapters here at
Kansas State so I cannot answer, but if you have any questions about
Fraternity and Sorority life in general I would be happy to answer them.
2. If I answer this question I might sway your opinion of a chapter and all of
our chapters on campus are great, however if you have any questions about
Fraternity and Sorority life as a whole I would be happy to answer them.
3. I don’t want to influence your opinion of any chapter on campus and want
you to find the chapter that best fits you, but if you have any question about
the Fraternity and Sorority community as a whole I would be happy to
answer them.
If in a fraternity and asked what sorority you hang out with and vice versa you may
answer by saying:
1. We interact with several organizations throughout the year for various
occasions such as homecoming, Greek Week, socials, and philanthropies.
a. By saying organizations instead of sororities or fraternities we are
showing that the Greek system supports everyone on campus.
