1. In the advertisement It shows the two students smiling and looking towards one another at the start to symbolize
a kind advertisement with non-diegetic sound (soundtrack – trumpets like smooth jazz) making it seem calm and
nothing bad about to happen, you'd expect this because the start doesn’t open with NHS at all, so you'd expect it
to be something towards relationships, so the current codes and conventions of the viewer is currently
questioning what's about to happen further on. They also use slow motion as soon as they acknowledge each
other creating a tension between them

2. In the advertisements next few seconds, it shows the girl having a flash
back due to the boy drinking something yellow, bring her into the flash
back with someone holding a beer which holds the same sort of colour
as the drink the boy has furthermore, it’s a medium close up so us the
viewer can see clearly, it’s not alcohol and that it's in school and not in
a house party which her flash back is based in. However, after it fades
to her flash back there is still non-diegetic sound but it's more of a
party rock theme with thudding (possibly representing the heart rate
as it can increase or decrease depending on the user)
When we are shown that’s it's clearly a party and not zoomed into the beer, we get a handheld Pov but reversed going into
a Pov of the girl (Perspective Of View) and been given the beer and proceeds to drink it. (Now the we the Viewer know that
the codes and conventions are about children underage drinking and drinking so we have a clear understanding of what's
happening but there is more) (there is clearly a lot of mise-en-scene because there is a lot of props used, like drinking
bottles like the beer and the yellow drink, the clothes used to separate the past clothes being the party and the future
being the school uniforms and party's lights are also used in this and large alcoholic probs like a big wine glass) after this
event she's had a flashback from she brings a startled face becoming back to reality instead of the flash back and the
beginning non-diegetic sound stars again

3. After coming back from the flashback, it shows her walking towards the boy as before with the same non-diegetic
sound as the start and as she walks, she stumbles into someone not being aware of her surrounding making it known
to us the viewer that she shows interest in him as she is smiling. However, as she stumbles into the boy then she gets
another flash back bringing us back to her holding a drink in a cup portraying it to be alcohol and shoving her way
through a crowd of people to get somewhere, this also shows us she's made a bad impression to someone because a
girl in the back on the right has an unhappy face towards our protagonists' decisions

4. Then later we comeback from that flash back, for them to get closer and then she gains a
flashback due to looking towards the boy's teeth as it has triggered another memory to
accrue and it to be a flashback, and the party non-diegetic sound resumes, it then shows us
her POV again of seeing him giving a smile in a way of humiliating her then faces us towards
the toilet then to vomit showing us that she's had too much to drink.
Codes and conventions have been used perfectly here to show that you shouldn’t drink
while still in school and gets the message across to us the viewer quite clearly and it also
shows that you could potentially be humiliated for a normal thing which is vomiting but can
be used against you to embarrass you.
mise-en-scene has also been used well to use a toilet and to make a liquid to represent
vomit to signal its bad to drink.

5. Straight after the incident of her vomiting we are shows a
reverse Pov, it's like a body camera to perfectly get the persons
facial expressions and that alone for us to see her look towards
the boy chuckling at her and then turning his attention towards
something else. However, the flash back brings us back to the
present and her smile begins to fade because she relies
that' he's not smiling at her because he shows interest it's
because he's laughing and smiling at what he'd seen her like and
then it shows this with the next clip of him laughing in her face
making her feel humiliated as she's coming to the realization as
it is to why he's doing so. Furthermore, this is showing us how
bad it is to drink while in school as it will stick with you until you
leave meaning you could get bullied for it
