inthegenreofradionews?
I foundoutthatthemost commoncodes andconventions arethatthe presenteris alwaysloud andclear,he orshecanbeheard
witha sharptone.
Most radioshowsusea soundbedofmusic tounderlaythe voiceof thepresenter, normally.I foundthatthespeakerswere
alwaysspeakingdirectly intothemicrophone, andtherewasnosilence while I waslistening throughthe radioshow. I found out
thatthe presenterstyleswasabouttalkingformally,andtheyhada serioustone totheirvoice.
4. All of thebroadcastshadatleastonejingle playing in theirshow,in which it wasformedwithdifferenttypesof sounds. The
jingles informsthe audiencewho arelistening, sotheyknowwhatradiostationtheyarelistening to.Theywouldnormallyhavea
separatejingle forthe news,andanothertointroducethestation.
The radioshowsalso includedelements ofinterviews, whetherit wouldbeapre-recorded,live orcall in’s.This showsthatthe
radioshadmorethanonevoice tolisten to,andmoretypesofopinionsbeing spread.
