Impression is a negative reproduction of
the oral structures used to produce
positive cast.

1-Maximum area of coverage
within anatomic physiological

It is a negative registration
made for purpose of diagnosis
,study and treatment planning
and fabrication of special tray.

1-It has simple manipulation.
2-the setting time is fast.
3- The material is pleasant for the patient.
4- It dose not distort the tissues as of its soft

and it is used for making master cast which must
be poured with stone material.
