THE LUNA- The power of Solitaire
From the vastness of the universe to the littlest spark in our eyes, we see dualities
that playtheirpartsto nourishthe whole.There’sgoodandbad,rightandwrong,bigand small,male
and female,andlightanddark. These counterpartsbalance eachother outto bringtotal equilibrium
in the grand scheme of things. The sun is the yang to the moon’sying. The sun is the father and the
moon is the mother in the Milky Way clan. Although the moon is seen as a lustrous heavenly body,
she onlyreflectsthe sun’slighttobringilluminationtomankind.She,thenbecomesthe mirrorof our
hearts, gleaming with wonder, emotion, fertility, clarity, transition, intuition, and balance.
ATTRIBUTES DERIVED:
 Emphasis of radiance amongst the dark.
 The gradient sky.
 Reflection over the stars.
 The flawless brightness and the flawed surface.
 Divine Shine.

BACKGROUND OF PROJECT:
The project is based totally on moon and moon inspireddesigns.The stones and gems used
are an imitationof moonstoneswhichare widelyusedinEnglishcountriesforitsgloryandheavenly
patterns.Alsoemphasisingthe horoscopicimportance of the moonstone whichmade itto be a vital
part in every human’s life.In the Western countries,people make it mandatory to have hold of this
moon stone at least once in their life so as to get the luck that they deserve. This much is the
importance, the moon stone holds in the life of people. Adding to the highlightsof the moon stone,
the otherrawmaterialsare alsousedtoenhancethe lookof theproductsandtopresentthembetter.
The base fabric usedisSatinfabricthat holdsthe piecesof ornamentationtogether.The collarpieces
are enrolled with a canvas material underneath thus allowing it to stay upright and stiff and to
maintain the shape of the collar and put it in place. The cutwork is made using baby satin ribbons
enclosed by gems that are found as an imitation of moon stones. Denoting the opaque and
transparentnature,tiesare made usingrexinwhichis100% opaque andtransparentdetailingsheet.

consumer’sattitudestowardsH&Mwhetherthe reasons behindshoppingatH&M differfrom
reasonsshoppingingeneral,howeverthe mainfocusof thisstudyisto explore how advertising
impactson female consumersandwhattriggersthemtobuy. The nextchapterwill entail the basics
of marketing,advertising andthe basicsof consumerbehaviour. Asthe mainresearchquestionof
thisstudy,thisstudywill examine whatwouldbe mosteffective advertisingchannel topromote
clothingproductstowomenfromdifferentage groupsandalsowhetherpeople buybecause of
advertisingorare there otherfactorsthat may increase women’sbuyingpower.Asthe topiccan be
