The first permanent photograph was an image produced in 1826 by
the French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce

This was the first ever photograph taken and as you can tell the quality was very bad as
the lighting in that time was not good at all , also the image is in black and white, as the
chemicals weren’t advanced then to produce a coloured photograph also it was much
cheaper. From this year onwards Photography was black-and-white or shades of sepia
in the early years of this revolution.

Color photography was very rare and expensive, and again often less than true to life.
Color photography became more famous during the middle of the 20th century and has
become even more since. The image below is a photograph taken from a high definition
camera, you can immediately see the difference, the colors, how the image is not blurry
and you can see the detail just as if you were there looking directly at the scenery.
