Andy Warhol Andy was "trained as a graphic designer", in 1949 he started work as an "advertising art director" in New York and started his career as an artist in 1962 where he would open an exhibition of "silk screen prints of dollar bills, Campbell soup cans and Coca-Cola bottles." Andy also managed to create "films, photography sessions and silk-screen prints" in his studio named "The Factory" Andy Warhol - Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (Link to the source of the information on this slide)

Blake vs Warhol Pop Art (A few examples) Examples of Blake's Pop Art: Peter Blake (1932-), who is known for works such as the iconic Beatles, Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. Examples of Warhol's Pop Art: Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement in the late 1950s. - 14. Task 4 – Evaluation – Problem Solving • Describe three problems you faced in your project and how you solved these • 1. Creating a captivating poster. Solved this by doing some more research on Artists. • 2. Lack of skill creating posters. Solved by creating posters about ourselves to get the basics. • 3. Needed more time to finish posters. Solved this by using free time to carry on creating the posters.
