Culture can be defined as the way of life of the
people, the social constructs that evolve within a
group, the ways of thinking, feeling, believing and
behaving

ESL environment

• students can be asked to act out a miscommunication incident that is based on cultural
differences
• -Ask SLLs to observe a film or television segment and point out the cultural norms
