2. WHAT IS MEDITATION?
• Meditation is the direct experience of your
own mind.
• Instead of distractions, there is a calm, clear
awareness, a sense of being instead of doing,
of tranquility instead of confusion.

3. MEDITATION AND CLOTHES
• Comfort comes first : Loose and comfortable
• Clothes worn during meditation must have
some symbolic significance.
• It helps the mind to concentrate on
meditation.
• Example- colors, shapes, ornaments.

4. MEDITATION AND COLORS

White - purity and transcendence.
Saffron & maroon - sun and enlightenment.
purple - God’s majesty.
Blue - Tranquility
These colors affect our mind. Choose your color
whole you meditate and see the difference!

5. MEDITATION AND SHAPES
• cloak -privacy
• A belt /rope around the waist - the link
between the man and divine.
• A scarf, (Buddhist ceremonies) - the act of
offering.
• Bare foot - Humility and putting aside of
earthy things.

6. MEDITATION AND ORNAMENTS
• Necklaces of birth stone.
• Simple wooden beads / pendant with spiritual
significance . example : cross or ‘om’.
Make sure whatever you wear or choose should help
you focus and should be used only during the
session of meditation.

• Meditation uses chakras- non
physical form of energy complexes.
• Chakras are associated with
colours and our body parts.
• Examples-heart chakra , throat
chakra , chakra around the navel.
• At the end of meditation, Every
chakra(part of the body) is
energized.

Exercise: write any event/person/thing of the
dream and around it everything related to it.
By gaining control of our dreams, we gain control of
