As a fully disposable and recyclable solution, DynaStage aims to minimize
environmental impact and streamline your operation. DynaStage features
the Multitronic V Firing Panel, Surface Tester and intrinsically safe integrated
switch-detonator, including preassembled guns and tandem sub adapter.
The solution is the most efficient option in plug-n-go perforating — enabling
the lowest total cost of operations in well completion.
Easy Arming
Arming a DynaStage gun in the field is as easy as installing a battery in a flashlight. There are no wire connections
or detonator crimping requirements. Safety and reliability are improved, and overall operating time is reduced.

The DynaStage detonator is immune to electrical hazards that can impact conventional
selective perforating equipment because it can only be energized by a series of digitally
coded signals from the Multitronic V Firing Panel. The patent-pending plug-n-go
design reduces the potential for errors by eliminating the need for wiring and crimping.

The unique injection molded gun parts enable on-demand
configuration of charge phasing and shot density. Upon firing,
the parts fully disintegrate, simplifying recycling of the gun body.

Independent Safety Test Results
•	 Static electricity tested safe to 2500 pF 30,000 V.
•	 Safely tested at 50 V and 20 A.
•	 Surge tested to 6600 V and 2500 A.
•	 RF safe at 4 GHz, 300 V/m.
•	 Fluid desensitized after 2 min. in water.
•	 Impact tested to 70 Joule.
•	 Exceeds API RP67 standards for electrical and
	 operational safety.
•	 The integrated switch-detonator may be damaged
	 by excessive current or voltage, but is designed to
	 fail safe.
S U R F A C E T E S T E R
By safely checking perforating guns on the surface, the DynaStage Surface
Tester greatly reduces the chance of lost time, mishaps, misruns and
misfires due to a system fault. The Surface Tester is fully RP67 compliant
and cannot initiate any type of detonator or explosive device.
M U L T I T R O N I C V F I R I N G P A N E L
The Multitronic V Firing Panel is as easy to use as a smartphone app. As soon as
the gun string is connected, the control panel queries and indicates the number
of guns found. The highly intuitive panel allows the gun string to be safely tested
and monitored throughout the entire pumpdown operation. The Multitronic V
also supports “shoot-on-the-fly” operation through an instant-fire capability.

•	 Temperature rating 300°F/150°C for 1 hr.
•	 Unlike some EFI or EBW detonators, the DynaStage
	 system is available without import, export or transport
	 restrictions worldwide, except for sanctioned countries.
•	 Gun size available in 3-1/8 in., length can vary.
•	 Charges 22.7g, DP or GH, RDX or HMX.
DynaStage reduces overall operating time at every stage of perforating, so that frac costs and total
completion costs are lower. By integrating a streamlined, service-oriented solution with the most
reliable perforating tool available, you can realize extraordinary performance:
STREAMLINED EXECUTION
•	 Fully assembled guns built by certified technicians are delivered
to your job site with phasing, shot density and charge type
customized to operator specifications.
•	 Full selectivity, stage skipping and gun redundancy are easily
enabled for the most complex completions.
•	 With no inventory, field assembly or maintenance required,
labor costs are reduced and wellsite operations can continue
without interruption.
•	 Space-saving tandem adapter reduces overall gun length and
weight by 20-25%.
A small incremental investment in the DynaStage system can prevent a catastrophic surface detonation of a perforating gun, avoiding
risks posed by conventional methods and other switch-detonator combinations. DynaStage integrated switch-detonators require a series
of specific digital codes to initiate, preventing any other energy sources from unintentionally initiating the detonator or igniter. With
DynaStage, there is no handling of explosives or remnants — certified technicians build and deliver fully assembled guns to the job site,
eliminating gun assembly, wiring and cutting detonating cord. This greatly reduces the risk of inadvertent ignition or detonation.

Lost time associated with conventional equipment resulting from
mishaps, misruns, misfires or removing of bridge plugs set in
the wrong location can add millions in costs to a multiwell field
development program. DynaStage is engineered to minimize

•	 Wireline service companies using conventional equipment
experience reliability in unconventional well perforating
ranging from 30 to 100 runs per misrun. The unique design
of the DynaStage solution dramatically improves upon these

over any plug-and-perf equipment in use today.
•	 All DynaStage integrated switch-detonators must pass X-ray
quality assurance, significantly reducing the chance of lost time
due to a manufacturer’s defect.
DynaStage incorporates innovative operational designs, which
lower rig time and enhance well completion efficiency:
•	 Unlike traditional selective-fire equipment, the DynaStage
integrated switch-detonator has no wires. A solid pin provides
a robust and efficient connection, eliminating the potential
for lost time from miswired connections. Arming a gun is
simpler than installing a battery in a flashlight, offering a true
plug-n-go solution.
•	 Initiator functionality, setting tool and guns can be quickly tested
on the surface, when run in hole and between shots, significantly
reducing the chance of a misrun.
•	 Skip-over capabilities for individual guns, ensuring every stage has
the highest chance of being perforated for maximum productivity.
