Lead the Lender Engagement Team for the Affordable Lending and Access to Credit Division. I
manage a team of housing and mortgage professionals that create production strategies and lending
opportunities for Freddie Mac’s lender customers. Working collaboratively with lenders, non-profit
agencies, and government agencies, my team creates outreach initiatives designed to increase
affordable loan originations and deliveries to Freddie Mac, and increase access to credit for under-

Civic Center Home Loans specializes in helping first-time homebuyers access the various government
assistance programs in Southern California and promotes education and counseling for low and
moderate-income borrowers.

CITY OF LOS ANGELES
Managed the operation, maintenance, and preservation of 44 acres of the City’s most important real
estate. El Pueblo is the birthplace of the Los Angeles and Home of Olvera Street
 Directed 80 employees (43 full time), an operating budget of over $3 million. The Monument
maintains a City attraction that has approximately 2 million visitors per year.
 Completed over $30 million in capital improvements to the Monument during my tenure
DIRECTOR OF HOUSING, TARGETED NEIGHBORHOOD INITIATIVE 1999
CITY OF LOS ANGELES MAYOR’S OFFICE
Implemented the Targeted Neighborhood Initiative (TNI) Program. The TNI Program focused
private and public sector resources to revitalize communities throughout Los Angeles. Reported to
the Mayor and City Council regarding progress against program goals and objectives.
 Drove 144 specific housing, neighborhood, and commercial projects being completed by six
agencies, with $36 million of CDBG funds and $10 million of Tax Increment financing
 Directed an inter-agency support team that was responsible for implementing neighborhood
projects
