Repaired and changed tires. Found tire damage and problems. Inflated tires to
the correct pressure. Used balancing machines to find counterweights for
wheels. Found punctures using water baths. Removed and mounted wheels.
Located punctures in tubeless tires. Used power tools. Rotated tires. Prepared
bills. Performed preventive maintenance. Changed oil.
Oil Rig Driller, Darrel's Drilling Co., Konawa, OK
Count sections of drill rod in order to determine depths of
boreholes. Connect sections of drill pipe, using hand tools
and powered wrenches and tongs. Maintain and adjust
machinery in order to ensure proper performance. Locate
and recover lost or broken bits, casings, and drill pipes from
wells, using special tools. Weigh clay, and mix with water and
chemicals to make drilling mud. Monitor progress of drilling
operations, and select and change drill bits according to the
nature of strata, using hand tools. Clean and oil pulleys,
blocks, and cables. Bolt together pump and engine parts,
and connect tanks and flow lines. Cap wells with packers, or
turn valves, in order to regulate outflow of oil from wells. Line
drilled holes with pipes, and install all necessary hardware, in
order to prepare new wells. Plug observation wells, and
restore sites. My accomplishments included: Knowledge on
operating Heavy Equipment such as front end loaders, bob
cat, backholes, heavy duty forklifts
