2. CAREER HISTORY
Company: HK Calibration Technologies (5 Mar 2012 to 5 June 2012)
Job Title: Instrument Technician
My responsibilities included calibration and verification of a wide range of instruments from the
mining industry to local hospitals and airports. After a week of training and work in Sydney I
was redeployed to Brisbane to set up & open the office there. This was challenging as I only
had 1 weeks experience with the company, and I had to learn a lot of administration duties
very quickly. After about 2 weeks of getting that office stable and organized, I was then moved
to Perth where I am still working today.
Company: Lotus Technical Services 2007 to 2011
Job Title: Calibration Technician
I have served my apprenticeship on the Pfizer Grange Castle site in a GMP environment. I
have worked for the past four years as part of a centralised calibration team whose
responsibilities included scheduled calibrations, and Preventative Maintenance across a wide
range of Process critical equipment (GMP), non-critical equipment (non GMP), Utilities
equipment and Portable Lab equipment.
Company: Bare Bodkin Theatre Company 1998 to 2007.
Job Title: Stage Manager, Lighting/Sound Technician,
I worked as a stage manager on three professional productions. This involved managing all
aspects of the show before and during the consecutive tours. By 2001, I became more
interested in the technical side of theatre. Since then I have worked as a freelance lighting
and/or sound technician in local theatres.
I worked with the consultant in Ratoath Community Centre, in January 2005, wiring the theatre
equipment including sound, lighting, talkback and show relay. I had great experience here
working onsite as an electrician.
I worked every June from 2004 to 2007 on the ‘Opera ala Carte’ in Lough Crewe Gardens.
Here I help to supply six marquees with power from a generator. One of the marquees is set
up as a theatre to stage the opera. I also light up the avenue, car park and the old church
3. building. This is valuable experience in outdoor electrician work.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy going to the Theatre, reading, walking and spending time with friends.
I take part in the women’s mini marathon every year (back home). I practice yoga on a weekly
basis.
I was in scouts years ago and I love the great outdoors ever since.

Safety.
I was the assistant safety officer for LTS on the Pfizer site. I carried out random weekly safety
audits to ensure all safety procedures were being followed correctly and work was executed in
a safe manner. I also updated my colleagues on site safety incidents or one point safety
