WIUX TO HOST CAMP KESEM BENEFIT
Benefit concert aims to help local Kesem chapter
WIUX will be hosting a benefit concert for Camp Kesem on Friday, December 12, from 8:30 p.m. - 11:30
p.m. at Rachael’s Café, located at 300 E. 3rd St.
The concert will feature Bloomington artists Peter Oren, Sunspots, and Stellardaze. The concert will kick off
with Peter Oren from 9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., followed by Sunspots from 9:45 p.m. - 10:15 p.m., and
concluding with Stellardaze from 10:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Camp Kesem is a nationwide community organization, driven by passionate college student leaders, that
supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Opened in 2004, the Indiana University
chapter of Camp Kesem provides free summer camps for children in the central and southern Indiana
area. WIUX is honored to host an event that benefits such an inspiring organization.
Admission is $3.00, or free if attendees bring an item from the Camp Kesem Wishlist. Items include arts
and crafts supplies and fun items such as costumes, water guns, or footballs.
Not only will you benefit Camp Kesem, you’ll hear some great music from local bands. Come out and
support a great cause!
