Arrow Unity
The project for Arrow Electronics, Inc. i.e. Arrow UNITY is to implement a single global ERP
(Enterprises Resource Planning) system to the Global Components businesses of Arrow around
the world. Many of Arrow's current approaches are overly complex and driven by their legacy

systems. The business objective of UNITY is to design a system to co-ordinate the free-flow of
information across each area of the business, from Finance to Order Processing, to Purchasing
etc. and transform Arrow's current Global business processes and operational activities to
perform faster, be easier to do business with, and leverage Arrow's global presence more
effectively.
The implementation of UNITY is done by phasing out Arrow's legacy systems and moving to
Oracle ERP in a geographically chronological order. The existing functionality and the future
requirements are mapped to a new solution, and end-to-end development, testing and migration
cycles are planned and executed.
• Travelled to USA in December 2012 and currently serving dual roles as a Release
Manager and Onsite Technical Lead.
• In the role of a release manager I will responsible for smooth functioning of the sales
work bench releases.
• As an Onsite technical lead I will be responsible for the requirement gathering from the
business and providing solutions for the change requests
• In this role I will be responsible for the technical delivery of both Offshore and Onsite
teams.
