Did you know that the average US meter reader
reads 600 meters a day?
Readers dealing with meters inside homes, rural areas, and ice & snow
may read 200 meters a day.
Easy access, tight spacing, & mild weather allows reading up to 1800
meters in a day.
Kauai does not have ice & snow, seldom has meters inside homes, and
has a small amount of road compared to many rural districts.
The low end is 200 meters a day.
KIUC is claiming to only be able to read half
this number on beautiful Kauai!
KIUC has redefined the meaning of “Kauai time.”

Yes!
