Safdar Kazmi -Education and Management Consultant
With over 30 years of experience of various professional arenas including national and
international organizations; Safdar Kazmi is a seasoned professional with specific interests in
the fields of education, health, and management. Having served more than 15 years in the
development sector and projects at most responsible positions, he is conversant with filed

With successful completion of courses from Harvard Graduate School of Education,
Washington USA and being member and affiliations of professional bodies like International
Readers Association (IRA) USA, American Institute of Research (AIR) USA; he has worked in
various capacities on projects by USAID, European Union, UNDP, World Food Program
(WFP), Baahan Beli and The World Bank. Recently conducted baseline study EGRA/EGMA for
Chemonics International and IRC International - USAID funded Pakistan Reading Program
(PRP) and Sind Reading Program (SRP), the biggest ever funding on educational program in
Pakistan.

and management including financing, budgeting, planning and programming,
administration and management systems; institutional capacity assessment and
building; school management and curriculum and materials development.
 Planning & implementing follow up activities, pre and post tests, baseline
studies/surveys, gap analysis and needs assessment. Supporting schools and training
teams to enhance Community Participation in literacy and elementary education
programs, Organizing Conferences, Excel Camps and Professional Development
Forums.
 Providing support to establish a quality standard Library and Science Laboratories to
full fill the students needs and as per curriculum requirement to meet the 21st
Century educational standards.
 Curriculum development, school development (Planning & Budgeting) and
development of low cost no cost teaching materials.
