SITUATION: The SA GSK Team were
instructed to organise 7 meetings for a
new product in a very short time
frame, requiring the team to liaise with
venues, specialists and filling out a lot
of different forms (speaker request
forms, etc). ACTION: As the other
members of the GSK Team had been
called away to various training sessions
in Melbourne which were very time
consuming, Susanne volunteered a
large amount of her own time to
contact venues, organise forms, and
liaise with the Urology Specialist Rep to
ensure that there were specialist
speakers for these meetings
RESULT: In taking on this extra
responsibility, a huge amount of time
was saved for the other team
members. This was especially
appreciated considering that it was at
the end of Susanne’s role in the GSK
team before she moved to Oncology,
and therefore she fit this in around all
of the other handover procedures she
was required to do – Thanks Susanne!
