In looking over your paper, I have a few questions/clarifications/issues that should probably be addressed in your final paper.
Where is your thesis? Generally, your thesis goes at the end of your introductory paragraph(s), but I couldn't seem to find it. The part where you actually start arguing something appears to be around the section titled 'why elites are not successful,' but I need something indicating your argument much sooner than that. Furthermore, I wasn't really sure what you were arguing until your conclusion--your introduction should definitely be more focused on the point you're trying to make.
Keep in mind that constitutions are not unique to democratic societies, and also that monarchy is not a governmental system that necessarily excludes democracy. For example, Great Britain is what we call a constitutional monarchy--they have a constitution, a monarch, and democratically elected representatives.
Headings should ONLY be used if they designate sections that will be tied together to form an argument. Your current headings function more like topic sentences than headings, and therefore seem redundant. Either shorten them to the key point of each section (MAYBE three words total) or integrate them into the paragraphs as topic sentences.

As a precursor to your research paper, you will be writing a bibliography, which includes an annotation for each of the sources you plan to use.
An annotated bibliography is a list, in MLA style, of sources used in a particular essay. Each citation is followed by a paragraph (the annotation) that includes a brief summary of that source’s main points, an assessment of the source, and how the source relates to the essay’s topic.
Criteria:
· Just as for your research paper, your bibliography must include 5 sources total. Look for sources in the library catalog, or databases such as Gale Literary Sources, Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, or the MLA International Bibliography with Full Text on the ELAC library website.
· Include a creative working title for your research paper.
· Your annotations must be between 150 and 250 words long. You must do three things in each annotation:
· Summarize the main points of the source.
· Assess the source. Here, reflect on the source’s:
· Goal (What is the source trying to do? Educate? Argue? Inform? Convince? Find a strong verb to help you explain).

She also showing many evidence to prove that ‘widespread’ is not true. Also in her conclusion, Holmes claim that ‘it all depends on different factors, including the social contract in which the talk is talking place, the kind of talk in involved and the relative social confidence of the speakers. Which is affected by such things as their social rules and their familiarity with the topic’ (304). She wants to say that women talk much then men only in some special and certain situation. But there is no certain answer for this argument who talk more women or men. This claim that Janet Holmes give in the end is controversial with the one that the author give in the beginning of her essay. Since readers who read this article will have a hard time to understand Janet Holmes position of the article, the main claim that Janet Holmes gave readers is not strong enough.
Janet Holmes also use some facts to improve her opinion. She use evidence to support that men talk more when men participate many participate many public activities. But women talk more when women in some private conversations. In general, the truths that Janet Holmes provide can be really supportive. For example, author wrote that ‘Miriam Meyerhoff asked a group of ten young people clear to the interviewees that the more speech they produced the better.’(302). Miriam Meyerhoff is a sociolinguist who comes from New Zealand .Janet Holmes use the expert truths to support the fact women were much more likely than men to be willing to talk to people at length .It is convincing .In this ‘women talk too much’. Holmes explained that ‘Evidence collected by American, British and New Zealand researchers shows that men dominate the talking time in committee meetings. Three functions of a lit review
Your literature review will become the first part of your research paper. Thus, it should do three things:
Include a short introduction that defines or identifies the general topic, issue, or area of concern, thus providing an appropriate context for reviewing the literature (this is called establishing a territory)
Synthesize other research on the topic, explaining what is known about it
Conclude by stating what is missing, what is controversial, what is not yet known, or what needs to be resolved in the discussion. This will provide the transition later to your own study and your research questions (this is called “establishing a niche”)

In this brief tutorial I want to explain how to get underway with your research process. I also want your title page to be set up in a similar fashion, and the Reference page to be set up in exactly the same way. I will demonstrate how to cite some references that you will be using in your research process.
Begin your research process by selecting a disorder. After selection of your disorder, go to your textbook in order to research that particular disorder. Make thorough notes from the book. Write down your source so you can use that to make your reference properly. My advice is to put quotation marks around everything that is word for word from the book along with the page number. This will help to eliminate the possibility of plagiarism. Later, when you go to write your paper, you will know exactly what you copied word for word so you can try to put it in your own words, or if you need to quote something, you will have the page number at your fingertips. At the end of this discussion I have a sample of how to reference your textbook. As you read your textbook or any other source, if you read something that you want to look into more as a thesis, look that reference up in the back of the book. If it is a journal, we may have it at the library, and if not, you can access it through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) program. If you wait until the last minute, this will eliminate this option.
The next step is to go to the DSM-IV-TR (2000) which we have in our library database. I will give you step by step instructions in order to do this.

Which is affected by such things as their social rules and their familiarity with the topic’ (304). She wants to say that women talk much then men only in some special and certain situation. But there is no certain answer for this argument who talk more women or men. This claim that Janet Holmes give in the end is controversial with the one that the author give in the beginning of her essay. Since readers who read this article will have a hard time to understand Janet Holmes position of the article, the main claim that Janet Holmes gave readers is not strong enough.

Three functions of a lit review
Your literature review will become the first part of your research paper. Thus, it should do three things:
Include a short introduction that defines or identifies the general topic, issue, or area of concern, thus providing an appropriate context for reviewing the literature (this is called establishing a territory)
Synthesize other research on the topic, explaining what is known about it
Conclude by stating what is missing, what is controversial, what is not yet known, or what needs to be resolved in the discussion. This will provide the transition later to your own study and your research questions (this is called “establishing a niche”)

In this brief tutorial I want to explain how to get underway with your research process. I also want your title page to be set up in a similar fashion, and the Reference page to be set up in exactly the same way. I will demonstrate how to cite some references that you will be using in your research process.
Begin your research process by selecting a disorder. After selection of your disorder, go to your textbook in order to research that particular disorder. Make thorough notes from the book. Write down your source so you can use that to make your reference properly. My advice is to put quotation marks around everything that is word for word from the book along with the page number. This will help to eliminate the possibility of plagiarism. Later, when you go to write your paper, you will know exactly what you copied word for word so you can try to put it in your own words, or if you need to quote something, you will have the page number at your fingertips. At the end of this discussion I have a sample of how to reference your textbook. As you read your textbook or any other source, if you read something that you want to look into more as a thesis, look that reference up in the back of the book. If it is a journal, we may have it at the library, and if not, you can access it through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) program. If you wait until the last minute, this will eliminate this option.
The next step is to go to the DSM-IV-TR (2000) which we have in our library database. I will give you step by step instructions in order to do this.

Thus, the internal consistency reliability of the measures used in this study can be considered to be acceptable for the job enrichment measure and good for the other measures.

The reliability of the job enrichment measure is presented in the first table in Output 11.3. The second table provides an overview of the alphas if we take one of the items out of the measure. For instance, it is shown that if the first item (Jobchar1) is taken out, Cronbach’s alpha of the new three-item measure will be 0.577. This means that the alpha will go down if we take item 1 out of our measure. On the other hand, if we take out item 3, our alpha will go up and become 0.851. Note that, in this case, we would not take out item 3 for two reasons. First, our alpha is above 0.7 so we do not have to take any remedial actions. Second, if we took item 3 out, the validity of our measure would probably decrease. We did not include item 3 for nothing in the original measure!
If, however, our Cronbach’s alpha was too low (under 0.60) then we could use this table to find out which of the items would have to be removed from our measure to increase the interitem consistency. Expository writing is a staple of academic writing. Throughout your academic and professional career, you will be called on to write hundreds of expository articles, reports and essays. A thorough knowledge of this writing form will hold you in good stead all through your career.
What is Expository Writing?
‘Expository’ is a synonym of ‘explanatory’. An expository essay is a piece of writing that explains or informs. It should be based on fact and free of the writer’s prejudices. Opinion is often expressed, but only if it is backed by fact. For example, if someone asked you to write an essay on the causes of World War II, you would write about Germany’s losses in World War I, the Treaty of Versailles, the fall of the Weimar Republic, and the rise of Hitler led Nazism. The expository writing process centers on four activities:

Find evidence to back up this idea.
Expound on the idea.

Thus, if you were to say that the Treaty of Versailles was the chief cause of World War II, you would first talk about the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles, the financial condition of Germany after WWI, the ineffectiveness of the Weimar Republic, and how they all led to the rise of Nazism.
Structurally, a piece of expository writing has the following components:

introduction
that introduces the central idea you will discuss in the essay.
The
main body
that presents evidence to back up the idea. This is the meat of the essay.
A
conclusion
that presents your idea again in the light of the evidence.
Thus, the central thrust of expository writing should be to build towards proving an argument, fact by fact, piece of evidence by piece of evidence. You will use expository writing a lot throughout your academic life. Most essays that you write in college will be expository in nature. Most writing that you will do in your professional life will involve a lot of expository content as well. In other words, sharpening up this skill will serve you well throughout your life.
