This document describes several proposed technologies for tracking health and nutrition:
1. Micro molar brackets with molecular sensors that analyze food and send data like calorie and nutrient information to an app via Bluetooth.
2. An esophagus ring created by a pill that measures the volume of food consumed by sensing expansion and contraction of the esophagus and sends this data to an app.
3. A smart accessory device like a watch that receives data from the other devices, tracks calories burned through activity, and displays organized information about nutrition intake and expenditure.

Mounted pieces of metal that support the nanoscale chip.
The chip snaps into these metal supports. These metal
attachments are made out of titanium just like regular
braces. These mounts are embedded onto the tooth by a
dentist, and the sensor is stuck on. The sensor and brackets
can be taken off, but they are made to last for long periods of
time.
Bluetooth inside the sensor, allowing information to be sent to the
accessory computer.
The spectrometer analyzes the different wavelengths present in
the light reflected back from the food. These wavelengths are then
sent to the accessory device with the use of Bluetooth.
4. 1.c.Function and Process
Each type of molecule vibrates in its own
unique way, and these vibrations interact
with light to create its own unique optical
signature. The device includes a light
source that illuminates the sample and the
molecular sensor collects the light
reflected from the sample. The molecular
sensor breaks down the light to its
spectrum, which includes all the
information required to detect the result
of this interaction between the illuminated
light and the molecules in the sample.

5. 2.Esophagus Ring
• A pill that is swallowed weekly that creates a small ring sensor on the walls of the esophagus. This nanoscale mechanism measures the
expansion of the esophagus. With the use of algorithms this device will be able to measure the volume of food eaten.

6. 3. Smart Accessory device
A smart accessory device like the watch seen
today is used to measure activity. This
technology records calories burned. This is also
the mechanism that all of the data is from part
one and two are sent to. The watch like
mechanism shows charts and organized graphs
of what was eaten what it was made of. This
mechanism shows how many calories you have
left to eat and what you have eaten and
worked off.
