This document outlines a Google Summer of Code 2023 project to improve the accessibility of Uyuni, an open-source configuration and infrastructure management solution. The goals of the project are to achieve at least AA level compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and make specific improvements like adding keyboard shortcuts, improving color contrast, including alternative text for images and icons, and enhancing form accessibility. A student intern will work with mentors over the summer to implement the changes using tools like the WAVE extension, and report on their progress weekly through meetings and communication channels.
