Duties include Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist II, plus mentor and leadership respon-sibilities 
that promote a healthy workplace environment and increase the culture of safety 
for patients and staff. This role encompasses Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives, 
collaborative work in interdisciplinary groups, public speaking, and supporting the mis-sion, 
vision and values of MUSC.

Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist II, February 2011 to November 2012 
Duties include patient prep, scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic, interventional, 
STEMI, and peripheral vascular procedures in an Adult Cardiac Catheterization Lab 
arena during normal business and on call hours. Cross training to Electrophysiology Lab 
where patient prep and scrub for single and dual chamber device implants, and EP studies 
are performed. Team Leader role involved staffing assignments and collaborating with 
nursing units and other therapeutic departments to provide safe and efficient coordination 
of outpatient, inpatient, and emergent patient care.
