2. Mur-Cal Oilfield Clearing Ltd. was established in 2004. During its ten year history
Mur-Cal has quietly developed into a multi-million dollar, 100% owned First Nation
Company. Over those ten years, Mur-Cal has undertaken many challenging projects
and has accumulated the skills, know-how and experience in project management
services and related construction works.
Today, Mur-Cal can take on the role of the “Prime Contractor” for small to medium
size projects when required within the job scope of; pipeline right of way and lease
clearing. Civil Earthworks, which includes the building of lease and access roads,
compressor and drill pads and if required rock blasting. Pipeline maintenance which
would include the excavation of operating pipelines, coating removal, sandblasting,
welding and or re-coating, backfill and reclamation.
Our objective is to provide our clients with an “I am assured” experience when we are
chosen to execute their projects. Our emphasis is on clear communication and follow-
through procedures to ensure our client’s objectives are the top priority in the planning
and execution of the project.

should be alert to any unsafe acts that they might observe or have brought to their attention and to take
steps to assure that such acts are not repeated. He/she shouldalso maintain a channel of communication
betweenmanagementandworkerssothatmatterspertainingtosafetycanbe givenearlyattention. He/she
should be fully supportive of and administer management’s safety policies and procedures.
The workers’ responsibilities are to perform their duties in accordance with management policy and
procedures. Thiswill include the properuse of personal protective equipmentwhenrequired,toreportall
unsafe acts and conditions that they might observe and to make recommendations that would culminate
such hazards, to refrain from horseplay or other activities that might be hazardous to themselves or to
others, to assure that they are mentally and physically fit to perform their assigned duties prior to the
assumption of such duties.
