Highlighted Accomplishments:
Systemically planned, organized, and directed all operations of the interscholastic high school, middle school, and
elementary athletic programs in compliance with all I.H.S.A.A., conference, corporation, and individual school by-laws and
policies, intentionally focused on using athletics to: 1) prepare students to graduate from high school and succeed in
college, 2) teach students how to be the best students, athletes, and community members that they can be, and 3) have
the most successful athletic teams’ as possible, in terms of a positive morale character and competitiveness.
Collaborated with stakeholders to restructure the Athletic Program’s Random Drug Testing Policy and Restoration Program
to make it more effective, and to revise the Central Noble High School Athletic Handbook.
Redesigned the Athletic Program’s Fiscal Plan, by implementing a more equitable fundraising/expenditure business models
and by creating a community sponsorship program, to turn the fiscal operation from the red to the black.
Established the “Evening with the Athletic Director”, a monthly community forum to foster communication, community
spirit, collaboration, and overall positive community relations between the Central Noble Athletic Program and the Central
Noble community stakeholders.

Highlighted Accomplishment:
Reestablished and built from scratch the entire George Washington Community School Continental Athletic Program (gr. 6-
12) with the reopening of the high school in August 2002 and the introduction of varsity sports in the Fall of 2004. The
school had been previously closed and gutted in 1996.
Systemically planned, organized, and directed the operations of the interscholastic high school and middle school athletic
programs in compliance with all I.H.S.A.A., conference, district, and school by-laws and policies, intentionally focused on
using athletics as a motivator to improve student attendance, positive moral character, and overall academic achievement.
This included the creation of a student athletic handbook.
Created all athletic job descriptions, hired, trained, assessed, and evaluated all members of the athletic staff.
Provided instructional leadership and professional development opportunities to insure that sound teaching/coaching
principles were used throughout the middle school and high school athletic programs, including the creation of a
coaching handbook and weight training handbook.
Encouraged, supported (through mandatory study tables), monitored, and certified the academic eligibility of all
student athletes.
Designed, implemented, and provided oversight/accountability for an equitable and profitable fiscal plan for the
athletic program.
Scheduled and coordinated all athletic contests, practices, and special athletic activities (ie: Student Athletic Council
and Student Athletic Ambassadors).
Scheduled and coordinated all officials, workers, and transportation services for all athletic activities.

Lead and oversaw the school improvement process through the System for Teacher and Student Achievement (TAP) and
all other aspects of the school’s day-to-day operations.
Successfully worked with all educational stakeholders in implementing the first year of our school-wide “standardized dress”
initiative, first school within our district to accomplish such an initiative.
Began revisions of the school safety plan, based on updated school safety practices and guidelines, to provide the safest
learning/work environment possible for the students and staff at our school.

Secondary Assistant Principal at Key Learning Community (grades K-12), July ‘10-June ‘12
Highlighted Accomplishment:
Lead the consolidation, restructuring, and turn-around process of the Key Learning Community Secondary Program (grades
7-12). Chosen for this position based upon the successful track record of academic improvement/achievement that
occurred at the North Campus and my successful past leadership experiences.
Oversaw every aspect of the school’s secondary program: hiring, mentoring, supervising, and evaluating both certified and
classified staff; implementing a fair, consistent, and restorative disciplinary secondary plan;
Oversaw the entire school’s safety plan, facilities management, custodial, transportation, textbook
inventory/distribution/collection, and after-school programs and/or systems.
Directed the successful transitioning of two school moves during the consolidation of our North Campus with our River
Campus (Summer 2010) and during the renovation process of the River Campus (Summer 2011- Summer 2012).
