GLNG Santos Downstream Project – Fairview
• Whilst working in this role it included: operating heavy machinery in
a safe and effective manner according to all relevant legislation,
policies and procedures and performing daily safety and
maintenance checks.
• Carrying out the daily and weekly inspection of the assigned truck
(ie water cart) and the required daily user.

repairs required and/or shortcomings in the performance of the
truck to the Supervisor in the prescribed procedure.

limits of the manufactures specifications.

Maroochy Shire Council / Unity Water
Operator/Leading Hand/Labourer
• Whilst working for Maroochy Shire Council I worked in road
construction and associated infrastructure involved with roads. As
a machine operator I was involved with the safe operation of
backhoes, front end loaders, cranes, forklifts and excavators.
• To further my career opportunities and offer new challenges I
transferred to the Water and Sewerage Department within
Maroochy Shire Council (now Sunshine Coast Regional Council).
The work in the Water and sewerage Department consisted of
laying water mains and sewer mains also operating excavators and
bobcats within the job sites.
• Obtaining firsthand experience over a period of six years I
transferred over to work on the maintenance of sewer pump
stations to give myself first hand knowledge of how the systems
work. I continued there for four years.
• After that period I went to Unity Water in the Water and Sewerage
Maintenance Department as a Leading Hand which consisted of
repairs to broken water pipes and sewerage lines, house
connections and blockages.

• Operated a 50 tonne excavator, digging trenches for drainage and
