“Coming together is a beginning; Keeping together is a progress; Working together is a success.”
An exchange programme provides opportunity for language learning, cultural immersion, new friendship and personal
growth. It not only provides an insight into two cultures but also helps in imbibing futuristic and progressive methods for
the benefit of students and staff. We, at Rukmini Devi Public School, believe in the vision of ‘sharing and learning’and
have successful cultural and educational exchange programme with different schools across the globe. In all the
exchange programmes, a basic plan of action is followed i.e., the students and teachers stay with the families of their
counterparts in India / partner country, work on theme based projects, attend classes, workshops, interactive sessions,
andvisitplacesof culturalandhistoricalimportancetounderstandthevariousrealmsofeachother’s culture.
Snail - Mail
“Sharing and caring are the bubbles of effervescence, which not only give joy to others but also enrich our perception of others.”
Snail-mail programme with the schools in Germany, Spain, Singapore, Russia and France has been a great success. Children in the age
group of 6 -10 years exchange letters and share information about each other’s country and culture. The communication is via post and
