2. This course is intended to:
Train the students to apply their knowledge of
English in real life situation.
Help the students understand the fundamentals
of English.
Provide them with a broader concept of four
basic skills in English so that they can relate
their learning to different practical uses of
English.
Develop confidence, satisfaction and
resourcefulness so that s/he can deal with any
language related problem with care and
efficiency.
3. Students will be able to recognize their
relevant background knowledge
(fundamentals) in English and will understand
effective communication in English.
They will review their knowledge in grammar
They will learn different methods and
practices suitable for language learning.
4. Students will learn accurate pronunciation of
English words and they will enrich their
vocabulary as well.
They will be able to develop their academic
writing skills.
Analyze their achievement through different
learning activities.
5. Along with face-to-face classroom
communication, MOODLE will be maintained
for digital storage of materials, resources,
online tools, etc.
Online learning platform will facilitate
students with services like communications,
collaborative project work, sharing facilities,
etc.
Traditional as well as online assessment
system will be maintained by course
facilitators.
6. Students will perform different classroom
activities and tasks to practice the four skills.
Structured classroom tests/quizzes will be
administered to assess students’ performance
throughout the semester.
Students will get engaged in individual as well as
collaborative classroom activities to practice
four language skills.
They will be able to perform tasks and submit
assignments/reports in group.
They will get grades and feedback online through
accessing MOODLE.
