1. “Huckleberry Finn, un viaje hacia la libertad” Comments
The show was simply brilliant! Nearly 100 students/teachers attended and they had a
great time. The play was fresh and dynamic. It was fantastic to see the audience
gettinginvolved with the show.
Silvia Montes, Canning House
I would like to echo Silvia's positive feedback from the performance. The teachers and
students were all very much engaged throughout the entire show and expressed how
much they enjoyed it afterwards. So many smiles and compliments for the entire
production!
Priscilla Hill, Canning House
It was fantastic!!! It was worth every single bit of stress!!! The actors were brilliant.
...Todo excelente como siempre!!!! A los ninos les encantó.
Dinorah Souto, Copleston High School
Just got back from the performance. Really enjoyed it. The acting and script were great
and the students loved it. Thanks and let me know of any future productions in the area.
Edward Hudson, Hayesfield School
Thank you very much for the play last Friday. Really good. An excellent opportunity
for the students of Spanish. Congratulations to the team and in particular to the actors.
Thank you very much again.
Yolanda Tornero Pérez, Ralph Allen School
The performance went really well. We are hoping to host you next year too! ...Thank
you for everything - it has been a really great event!
Anna Davis, John Cabot Academy
The feedback I got was positive, a great, imaginative production; a fantastic use of
lighting and sound as always.
Antonio Gomariz-Pérez, Truro College
Thank you again so much for coming to Halliford recently and the the riveting show
you put on for us, it was well appreciated by all the pupils and staff alike.
David Henderson, Halliford School
The students really enjoyed the play and many of the older ones were surprised at how
much of the language they could understand. It was spoken very clearly and this really
helped.
Angela Metcalfe, Tomlinscote School
The performance was certainly a success and it was helpful to have the script
beforehand. …We enjoyed meeting the actors and they were friendly and professional.
Jane Davies, Pangbourne College
The shows went really well. All students enjoyed the two performances and we had 5
different year groups. The actors were brilliant and it was another enjoyable
performance.
2. Marçal Bruna, King's School, Canterbury
All went very well, thank you. The performance and timing etc was very slick so we are
very grateful. The girls enjoyed the performance. The schools who attended seemed
happy enough and I think would return again in the future.
Claire Bolton, St Mary's School Calne
The whole play was in Spanish so it was quite hard to understand, but the actors who
were performing made the play very clear with the actions they were doing. ... Students
were kept entertained when the actors came off stage and interacted with the audience.
They tried to sell an imaginary banana to Nabeel (a Year 9 student) and even attempted
to take Mr. Bown’s phone off him! It was a fantastic day!
Students from Cheney School
Thank you for the production last week, thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Kate Backshell, Kings International College for Business & the Arts
The show went very well. Feedback from the students was positive on the whole. I think
we all felt it was good. My own classes enjoyed reading through the scripts and
practising their Spanish accents. They really seemed to understand the play by the end
of 2 or 3 lessons.
Mary Andrew, Kingsford Community School
We thoroughly enjoyed the play, some students found it a bit harder than last year but
were helped enormously by the great visuals.
Please keep in touch and let me know when the next play will be as it is always one of
the highlights for us.
Laura Schofield, Queen's College, Taunton
The play was well received and the boys could understand quite a bit of it.
Kathy Beckerleg, Halliford School
The show was well put on and produced.
Mark Nash, Dulwich College
I enjoyed it, thought the acting was good ... and I was very impressed by the sets and
props. ... My Spanish friend, María came and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loretta Moseley, Harrow School
“I thought the play was entertaining and I was impressed by the actors’ ability to do the
whole play by themselves – just the two of them. It was easy to follow since the
vocabulary was manageable and they spoke quite slowly and articulately.”
“Well presented and funny, but maybe a little fast-paced for the younger boys”
“Generally very funny”
“Understandable Spanish, entertaining and some quite basic humour”
“Good acting, especially when many parts are played by the same actor”
“Better than last year because I understood more.”
