Carl Rogers developed a person-centered approach to psychotherapy which helps people reach their full potential through unconditional acceptance and understanding. Humanism in psychology focuses on thinking critically about the world through rationalism and evidence rather than dogma. In education, humanism sees the learner as a whole and aims to engage their intellect, feelings, and skills through self-actualization. Maslow's hierarchy of needs model explains human motivation by understanding what fulfills people's needs.

the center of humanism psychology.
• For example, a student who is deprived of books, internet, or other
sources won’t have as much attention to give to learning. So schools offer
resources to students so that need is met and they can focus on
education.
